What is the fundamental difference between a dedicated server and a VPS? expand_more
With a dedicated server, all physical hardware (CPU, RAM, disk and network card) belongs exclusively to you and no virtualization layer is used. With a VPS, the same physical machine is divided among multiple virtual instances via a hypervisor such as KVM. A dedicated server has zero hardware overhead — every bit of performance flows directly to you.
How long does dedicated server provisioning take? expand_more
Standard configurations from available stock are typically activated within 4–24 hours. Configurations requiring a custom RAM upgrade, additional drives or different network setup may take 2–5 business days. Priority provisioning can be requested for urgent needs.
How do I access my server remotely? expand_more
You can connect directly with root access via SSH. In addition, our servers support IPMI/iDRAC, allowing you to manage the server via KVM-over-IP even if the OS crashes or SSH becomes unreachable. Contact our support team to enable IPMI access.
What does a subnetted IPv4 mean and how many IPs do I get? expand_more
A subnet is a contiguous block of IP addresses. A /29 subnet gives you 8 IP addresses (5 usable); a /28 subnet contains 16 IPs (13 usable). These IPs can be used for different websites, services or virtualization environments.
Can I install my own operating system? expand_more
Yes. IPMI/iDRAC access allows you to mount your own ISO and install any operating system you choose. We support Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Windows Server and other distributions. Windows Server licensing is charged separately.
What happens if there is a hardware failure? expand_more
In the event of a disk failure, RAID prevents any data loss. The faulty disk is replaced under the 4-hour SLA. In the case of a CPU or RAM failure, the server is migrated to an equivalent system. SLA compensation applies for any downtime during hardware replacement.
Can I install cPanel or Plesk on my dedicated server? expand_more
Yes. With root access you can install cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin or any other control panel. cPanel and Plesk require a paid license; our team can assist with licensing costs. Free alternatives such as HestiaCP and CyberPanel are also supported.
Is there a monthly bandwidth limit? expand_more
No. All our dedicated server plans come with unmetered bandwidth. Port speed is set at either 1Gbps or 10Gbps depending on your plan, and you can transfer data continuously at that port speed. Fair use policy applies.
Can I run VMs on top of my dedicated server? expand_more
Yes. With root access and hardware virtualization support, you can install Proxmox, VMware ESXi or KVM/QEMU on your dedicated server to build your own virtual machine environment. This allows you to run dozens of VMs on a single dedicated server.
What is the minimum contract term? expand_more
